I think the issue that a lot of peeps have with the cylindrical dehydrators is that you can only put one food in them at a time because the air circulates through each of the trays and down onto the next tray of food. All of the foods start tasting the same. I have also heard that they sometimes take forever to dehydrate. My mom has a dehydrator that is this style, and she always complains about how she tries to make dried fruit, but it’s still rubbery after 4 days of dehydrating! This one might be different though…I’d say if it has good reviews then go for it. Maybe I’m just partial to my Excalibur. =)

The food looks delicious! I definitely know what you mean about being ravenous after runs. I always am too, and I especially would be for those foods!
