As a result of the fantastic discussion by Zesty during The Healthy Living Summit, as well as a following panel discussion about Windows Live Writer, tonight I did some research on off-line blogging software for Mac users.
I just downloaded a demo of Blogo, and I’m in love!
I’ve worked with Ecto in the past, but became increasingly frustrated with it’s lack of user-friendly features. Not to mention, often it just doesn’t work. Apparently I’m not the only one who has had this problem in the past.
New Media Center has a good overview of all of Blogo’s features, and they seem to rival Window’s Live Writer. The cost is more expensive than WLW (free), and Ecto ($19.95) at $25, but it seems to me to be worth it!
