		<description>It takes a lot of guts to do what you&#039;re doing and I hope it leads you to a rewarding career path.  I would love for you to guest post on my blog - it was mostly about me, but I&#039;m beginning to write more about fitness, health and nutrition as my kids get older.

In highschool I had similar aspirations as you - I wanted to be an Athletic Therapist (they&#039;re often referred to as Athletic Trainers in the US).  I spent 6 yrs in University studying, yet after I completed the program I decided that the career path was not conducive to having a family due to the high amount of weekend and evening work involved.
